So once again, we see another bloomin’ World Cup campaign dominate the brand chart as another monster brand, Adidas, unleashes their ad. Well, what can we say? Is Suarez featured? Yes. What about Messi and Alves? Yeah and yup. Is it dramatically inspirational? Of course. Aliens? O wait, that was last weeks Samsung campaign that has now clocked way over 37 million views. We do love a good World Cup ad though, and Adidas has made theirs short and punchy (with considerably less footie superstars than others, such as, Nike calling the England team to go ‘all in’ for glory.

An important campaign to spread awareness of male domestic abuse is portrayed in a powerful hidden camera stunt. Inspired by the public reaction of the leaked video of Solange Knowles attacking Jay-Z in an elevator, ManKind Initiative
released their latest campaign to highlight exactly what society is lacking in knowledge of violence: Violence is Violence, no matter what gender is at the receiving end.
UGCSolar FREAKIN’ Roadways! (Scott Brusaw)
Well, would you look at that! Solar FREAKIN’ Roadways are apparently just around the corner and it sounds like they will fully project us into the future that we’ve been conditioned to expect through sci-fi movies like, Tron and The Minority Report. The creators, Scott and Julie Brusaw, have broken down the science for us to understand a) How these ingenious devices work and B) Why this will change the world as we know it.In a nutshell, these intelligent solar panels
will of course generate clean renewable electricity for the world, but will also lightly heat the roads (say “bye bye” to dangerous ice and snow!) AND have quality pressure-sensitive LED lights. These lights could provide warnings for obstructions or just jazz up your streets for events like Mardi Gras. Could this be the answer to a perfect, clean energy world? Well, it is actually happening as the US Federal Highway Administration has already funded research and development. The prospect of a disco-floored world is a future that sounds pretty darn attractive, but in all seriousness, saying that solar roadways will ‘power the future of the whole freakin’ planet’ appears not to be an overstatement.

has finally brought his awesome stop-motion cartoons onto YouTube in a feature length presentation. Using traditional animation cells and his iPhone 5s (is there anything they can’t do??), McSteez compiled his favourite Instagram animations into a surreal universe full of freaky creatures and little monsters. With a hefty following of 16.7K on his Instagram account, this ‘scribbler’ definitely has a noticeable talent at breathing bizarre life into the most mundane scenes!
