You may, or may not be aware, that The Queen’s Deputy Treasurer wrote to the DCMS a while back to see if the Queen was eligible for a slice of the £60m Community Energy Programme. (Normally reserved for schools, hospitals, councils and housing associations which benefit low-income families.)

The reason for this: A 50% increase in fuel bills to over £1m which was described as “untenable”. You’re right, it is. Get a job.

Oh sorry. There aren’t any.

Better still, abdicate and leave all your palaces, stately homes and treasures to the descendants of the people whose flesh, blood and bones they were built upon.
