Who judged the work?

Preparing to review and award this year’s entries is a stellar panel of nearly 900 judges, including top marketers from PepsiCo, Coca-Cola, Ikea, Jaguar Land Rover, Mars, Glossier, Droga5, WPP, Publicis, Dentsu and more. You can find a list of judges for each competition here.

Who’s in the running for trophies?

The finalists for this year’s awards were announced on thedrum.com in October.

Gordon Young, co-founder of The Drum, said: “Entries to this year’s awards exceeded all expectations, while deliberations on who should be crowned winner in each category proved challenging for our panels of judges.”

You can find nominations for each award program below.

What does it mean for the winners?

Entering your work into The Drum Awards Festival is not just a chance to take home a coveted gong.

The annual World Creative Rankings – which benchmark the agencies, advertisers, campaigns and people most awarded in the ad industry’s major global awards shows in the previous calendar year – are compiled by exhaustively analyzing the performance of thousands of pieces of creative work that won at 19 major industry awards programs, including Cannes Lions, D&AD, Clios and The Drum Awards.

That means that winning work across any of the categories at The Drum Awards Festival will contribute to your and your agency’s ranking.

“The World Creative Rankings are the definitive guide to the best agencies, brands and individual talent in the advertising industry. Inclusion on the list can make careers,” says Young. “So, it really is a no-brainer to enter your best work into The Drum Awards to improve your chance of making it on to the 2023 rankings.”
