The Brazilian pop superstar and Afrobeats giant are headlining the cola brand’s pre-match party before Man City takes on Inter Milan at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium.

Globally renowned musician Anitta will get the juices flowing as a co-headline act of the Champions League Final pre-match warm-up alongside Grammy-award winner Burna Boy. Taking place in Istanbul’s Atatürk Olympic Stadium on June 10, the showpiece event is set to bring the sporting spectacle and its thirst-quenching sponsor to a television audience of millions.

Whetting audience appetites with a pre-pre-match short film, Pepsi Max is documenting the collaboration between Anitta and Burna Boy as both artists belt out their greatest hits in energetic fashion.

Gustavo Reyna, Pepsi’s senior director of global marketing, said: “Each year, we are proud to work with the biggest and most exciting names in music to provide first-class entertainment moments for fans around the world. This year’s 2023 Uefa Champions League Final Kick-Off Show by Pepsi will be co-headlined by global superstars Anitta and Burna Boy – two artists who embody our ‘Thirsty For More’ philosophy, which celebrates people’s thirst for life – and we’re excited to see fans actively being part of this unmissable show via the #PepsiKickOffShow challenge. It’s going to be a truly fantastic spectacle!”

Pepsi Max and Uefa have been Champions League teammates for seven years in a row, harnessing the occasion to unite the worlds of sport and music through a shared love of soft drinks by embodying the brand’s ‘Thirsty for More’ proposition.
