The campaign is for German sink brand Schock and also features numerous Bavarian forest animals.

This slightly bonkers ad sees the Lust For Life singer Iggy Pop hiding out in a kitchen during a slightly boring party, surrounded by cartoonish creatures that are taking selfies and drinking cocktails.

It’s titled ‘Home of Colorful’ and begins in the deep dark woods in a Hansel and Gretl-looking log cabin. As the camera pans to Pop, he questions: “why do parties always end up in the kitchen?”

As the various energetic animals dance around him, he concludes it’s because that’s “where the action is, baby,” before crunching some popcorn.

This is the second time that the punk pioneer has worked with the kitchen outfitter. Previous ads have focused on its sustainability strategies.

Promo for the project began rolling out this week online and on social, there’s also an exciting out-of-home campaign running in Germany. Creative agency Saint Elmo’s Munich is the brains behind the campaign.
