UK’s national tourism board says there is more to Britain than tea and red buses.

VisitBritain has asked tourists to ‘See Things Differently’ in its multi-million-pound campaign.

To mark the launch of its latest tourism drive VisitBritain has released a wacky 30-second ad that plays on Britain’s love of tea.

‘Spill the tea on Great Britain’ showcases reasons to come to Britain beyond tea and red buses like surfing, music festivals, and street art.

The campaign will run till spring and is focused on markets where there has been a strong tourism bounce back like the US, Canada, France, Germany and Spain.

To support the campaign a limited release of the themed teas, blended by British tea company Tregothnan, will also be available for tastings at VisitBritain promotional and trade events.

The media plan will include branded content across social media, digital display, digital out-of-home billboards in the Paris Metro and print.
