Loyal 9 Cocktail’s ‘NSFW hot-nine’ seduces summer-starved callers

Drenched in innuendo, a ‘NSFW’ hotline for Diageo’s Loyal 9 Cocktails gets consumers thirst for summertime.

Diageo’s vodka lemonade line, Loyal 9 Cocktails, has a scorching new hotline for those parched for an early taste of summer.

Designed like a dated phone sex hotline, the ‘LOYAL 9 HOT-NINE‘ delivers callers combating the winter blues, an immersive summer experience straight to their ears. The brand warns: the hotline is NSFW, standing for ”Not Safe for Winter,” of course.

After dialing the number (1-833-468-6463), a seductive, sultry voice begins painting an audible picture of the sizzling months ahead: “Sunshine. Beach. Wet suit zipper. Lemonade ... Oscillating sprinkler. Can you feel the summer yet?“ the voice beckons. For a more incognito session, consumers can also text the hotline “summer.”

The 15-second spot, which debuts on Loyal 9 Cocktails’ Instagram account, offers viewers the same sleazy summer fantasy, as a palm tree lightly sways in the wind and the sunset paints the sky a candy orange hue.

The campaign, created with No Fixed Address, extends to out-of-home components in the form of wild postings across New York’s SoHo, Union Square and Lower East Side neighborhoods, as well as across paid social channels.
