Rightmove and ITV are teaming up for sponsorship of Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway

The UK’s largest property website is partnering with ITV for the sponsorship deal, which sees it appear in various forms during and around the show. In 2021, the first episode of the series was viewed by a peak of 8.1 million viewers. Rightmove will be hoping for similar figures this season.

The partnership was brokered by independent media agency Electric Glue. Matt Bushby, chief marketing officer at Rightmove commented: “We want to encourage people to take action and get moving in 2023, particularly those who may have held back on their plans towards the end of last year because of uncertainty.

“Our headline sponsorship is timed to coincide with some of the busiest months of the year for agents, and as the UK’s number one property website, we hope to help stimulate activity further by reaching people on one of television’s most loved shows and getting more people contacting their local agent about a move this year.”

Rightmove’s ‘This Is It’ advert – created by Fold7 – will be used to create a number of new idents for the program to open and close each episode. The creative will also appear on either side of each ad break.

In addition to the ads, Rightmove will feature in the famous ‘Win The Ads’ segment of the program. That segment sees one audience member given the chance to answer questions about the week’s news, with every correct answer relating to a prize on the board – this series will include representation from Rightmove.

Rightmove’s branding will also be available to see in both the live and streamed content of the show.
