The popular hard seltzer brand has teamed with Netflix to promote the forthcoming murder mystery flick.

In celebration of the forthcoming release of Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, streaming giant Netflix (which will host the new film) has teamed up with hard seltzer brand White Claw to create a limited-edition murder mystery game.

Aptly dubbed ‘Crack the Claw’, the old-school whodunit-style game encourages players to discover the murderer in their midst – or to deceive fellow players to cover up their crime.

The new game is inspired in part by the experience of the Glass Onion cast themselves. During filming, Johnson and his cast played the popular social deduction party game ‘mafia’ between sets to get into character.

The new ‘Crack the Claw’ – which is of course designed to be enjoyed alongside a White Claw – comes with rules of play, a moderator script and 10 double-sided coasters that correspond with individual player roles, which include a moderator, a doctor, a detective, vacationers and murderers.

Beginning today, White Claw is offering eager fans the opportunity to snag the new game before anyone else. The brand is deploying a series of seven riddles across Twitter and Instagram. Clever fans who can solve all the riddles will unlock a seven-letter passcode to a designated website, where the first 100 fans can pick up ‘Crack the Claw’ for free using the same code. Starting tomorrow, the game will also be available for purchase.

“White Claw and Netflix are both cultural powerhouses, and we’re excited to partner together this holiday season,” said John Shea, chief marketing officer at White Claw Hard Seltzer USA, in a statement today. “‘Crack the Claw’ lends itself to gatherings of friends and family, so I can’t wait to play it with a White Claw in hand over the holidays.”
