The retailer has put family and community at the heart of its festive campaign launching on ITV and Sky tonight.

Argos is celebrating the chaos that sometimes ensues when family and friends get together at Christmas time. In ‘Avalanche,’ viewers see a couple nervously anticipating the arrival of their guests. According to the woman, they are expecting only a few visitors, but as a huge crowd of neighbors begins to make its way to the couple’s home, she starts to panic.

As the lively group run towards the hosts, spilling trifle and champagne everywhere, the pair brace themselves for a full-on but fun day.

The 30-second ad will launch today across TV and social media, with four different 10-second versions expected to land towards the end of November.
