Ad of the Day: ‘It’s How We Talk’ challenges misconceptions about stammering
Stamma has launched a series of billboards and a poignant film with VMLY&R.
The British Stammering Association, Stamma, has launched a film called ‘It’s How We Talk’ that captures people with a stammer mid-sentence, celebrating each moment while also calling out the damaging comments many have endured.
Accompanying the video is also a series of out-of-home (OOH) ads shot by David Vintiner.
“Some people see stammering as beautiful, others as something ugly and worth fixing,” said Daniel Liakh, director and creative at VMLY&R London. ”Regardless of what you think about this campaign, the fact remains – it’s just how some people talk. Deal with it.”
The film will feature across Stamma’s owned channels, with the billboards running in partnership with JCDecaux UK in locations across the UK.
