TalkSport bend the ears of British footie fans to surface live commentary options

TalkSport has teamed up with Pulse Creative, a joint venture between The&Partnership, mSix&Partners and Wunderman Thompson, to promote the wealth of options available to British football fans seeking live commentaries.

The ad features Sports Breakfast host Laura Woods, who demonstrates the embarrassment of choices available for the 2022/23 season by performing 450 increasingly fraught keepie-uppies – one for every live fixture to hit the airwaves this season courtesy of TalkSport.

Will Martin, head of marketing at TalkSport, said: “This season we’ve got more live football on the radio than anyone else and have invested in our football rights across the Premier League and beyond, including the first ever Winter World Cup."

Russell Ramsey, executive creative director at Pulse, added: “We felt that the best way to celebrate 450 live games on TalkSport was to turn the spotlight towards the station’s charismatic, fun-loving broadcast talent.”

Spanning press, social and TV, media for the campaign has been overseen by Pulse Media through mSix&Partner to target football fans using Sky’s AdSmart tech until mid-November.
