Crystal-maker Swarovski’s latest spot stars English actor Aimee Lou Wood in a film that encourages consumers to practice self-care.

Aimee Lou Wood, star of Netflix series Sex Education is encouraging people to let loose and be themselves in the latest campaign from Swarovski.

At the heart of the campaign is a one-minute film titled ‘Note to Self’ created by Somethin Else which puts a spotlight on the idea of recognizing the different sides of yourself and doing what’s right for you.

The film sees Wood gaining free time when a social event is cancelled – she then makes the most of it by practicing self-improvement, organizing her wardrobe, and journaling.

Wood assisted the production team with her creative expertise on the script writing, styling, and all elements of production. Somethin Else has also created a series of product films and photography to run during the three months of the campaign.

Mark Rivers, executive creative director at Somethin Else, said: “The team at Swarovski were instantly on board when we suggested a partnership with Aimee instead of the usual transitory influencer tie-up, and the results have really paid off.

”Aimee is not only a hugely talented performer, she’s got a great eye and made a valuable creative contribution to this collaboration.”
