Spotify, which became the club’s main partner a few months ago, is further showcasing artists on its LED boards for each fixture, as well as using in-stadium screens to showcase the latest releases from featured artists.

Last Saturday (August 13) during the game against Rayo Vallecano, the LEDs touted new album launches.

Marc Hazan, vice-president, freemium partnerships and business development at Spotify, said: “Ever since we announced the partnership, we’ve been excited to welcome fans to the Spotify Camp Nou for the start of the new season. The LED boards showcasing artists are an example of our ambition to give diverse artists a global stage and are just one of the exciting ways we’re bringing music and football together.”
