Electric vehicle charger brand Easee is hoping to entice Elon Musk to join the team for a coffee while he’s in its hometown of Stavanger, Norway for a conference later in the month.

The billionaire Tesla founder will be traveling to the Scandinavian country to speak at ONS 2022 – an energy exposition developed by Stavanger City Council, Statoil, Stavanger Forum and the Norwegian Petroleum Society. While he’s in the region, the team at Easee is hoping to chat with Musk about the future of e-mobility, among other important topics.

Slightly tongue-in-cheek in nature, the short video sees a town that is completely obsessed with Elon Musk. People have him tattooed on their arm, bronze statues of his face line the streets and children are given unusual names.

A social media campaign has also been set up to get the attention of Musk because according to Easee: “What’s the harm in trying? It’s probably easier than deciding what to pack for the long trip to Mars.”
