Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and Real Housewife Teresa Giudice go head-to-head in a DirecTV spot that brings sports and reality TV together on one football field.

With the football season about to kick off, Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys and Real Housewives star Teresa Giudice are suiting up for a new DirecTV spot called ‘The Wives’ House.’

‘The Wives’ House’ marks the third installment of DirecTV’s ‘Get Your TV Together’ campaign, which was first introduced in August 2021. The campaign aims to hone the power of fandom while highlighting the brand’s broad spectrum of binge-worthy content – all in one place. Previous rounds of creative featured all-time tennis great Serena Williams as Wonder Woman and baseball legends Alex Rodriguez, David Ortiz, Ken Griffey Jr and Randy Johnson as ‘GOATbusters.’

In the new spot, a woman flips back and forth between Real Housewives and a football game until, miraculously, both stars end up on the same football field, with Giudice dressed in the rival team’s gear.

“Our goal with every iteration of DirecTV’s ‘Get Your TV Together’ campaign is to unleash fandom in a way that feels more fluent in entertainment than any other brand out there; that means walking the tightrope of telling a story everybody can get, while mining the source material for those hyper-specific references and gags that let audiences know, ‘Yeah, we’re talking to you,’” said Mark Winters, creative director of TBWA\Chiat\Day LA, which created the ad. “This campaign was the most successful yet at pulling off that balancing act.”

The new campaign shows that even the most different fandoms can oddly work together perfectly. On offense are Prescott and his real-life teammate, wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, who go up against stars from different franchises of the Bravo cult classic, including Giudice, Kyle Richards and Kenya Moore.

The 30-second spot will run across linear TV, while digital experience agency Critical Mass facilitated a long-form asset, Meta augmented reality (AR) game, Snapchat filters and Reddit integrations across digital and social.
