Havas Media Group launches dedicated B2B division based in UK

Havas Media Group has relaunched its business-to-business (B2B) division as Havas Business, the French holding company announced today.

HMG previously managed B2B clients alongside its consumer-facing portfolio. From today, its client teams for shipping giant Maersk, Twill, JDE Professional and ABB, among others, will be united into a single unit dedicated to strategy, media execution and measurement.

Patrick Affleck, chief executive officer of Havas Media Group UK & Ireland, said: “The emergence of a new media landscape, a drive for brand purpose and a new generation of customers are ushering in a new dawn for B2B.”

A spokesperson for the company cited Statista research that suggests 68% of B2B marketers plan on increasing their advertising budgets in the short term. Affleck said that “brands are beginning to see the huge growth potential of untapped B2B opportunity within their businesses.”

Havas Business, he said, would “provide a one-stop shop brands can partner with as they go on their journey.”

Havas Business will be based in the UK, but offered to clients across Havas’ 150 global markets as part of the village model.
