Fashion media brand Highsnobiety has delivered a captivating film promoting the highly-anticipated Gucci x Adidas collaboration.

‘Joué Par Deux’ – which translates in English as ‘played out by two’ – features various couples running around Paris taking part in different activities that bring them closer together. It’s a fast-paced love letter to relationships, with the various characters bonding over their love of chess, dancing, music and riding around the city together.

Soundtracked by Joyce Bennett’s The New Boy, the short adopts the spirit of 60s and 70s cinema and features outfits from the recent Gucci x Adidas capsule collection.

Earlier this year, Highsnobiety released a hugely popular film to celebrate the second chapter of The North Face and Gucci partnership that featured TikTok star and trainspotter Francis Bourgeois.

At the time, Josh Wilson, senior art director at Highsnobiety, told The Drum: “There can often be a lot of egos in fashion and it takes itself very seriously, so it’s nice to forget about all that and have fun with a piece of content.”
