Ryan Reynolds & Nick Cannon craft Father’s Day ‘vasectomy’ cocktail for Aviation American Gin
What better way to celebrate Father’s Day than with a vasectomy? The Aviation American Gin-based cocktail that bears the name, that is.
Want a vasectomy? Ryan Reynolds will show you how to whip one up. The craft gin’s beloved co-owner and spokesperson brought in fellow father and “The Masked Singer” host Nick Cannon to show fans how to make the drink he introduced one year ago.
“Lord knows I need one,” Cannon joked, before demonstrating how to prepare the drink, which is made by topping ice with splashes of cranberry juice, tonic, lemon juice and Aviation American Gin, and an orange peel as garnish.
As Cannon proudly showed off his completed “vasectomy,” Reynolds snatched the drink from him, saying, “I’ll take it from here, Nick. I have three kids.”
“I have eight,” Cannon replied, which prompts a spit take from Reynolds.
The two stars closed out the bit holding each other, during which, Reynolds jokes, “No wonder you have eight kids. You smell amazing.”
Reynolds has shamelessly plugged Aviation Gin which he sold to Diageo for $610 million. Past gags have included advice for mid-flight emergencies in
partnership with British Airways and convincing Yakov Smirnoff to change his name.
