Well over 100 finalists have been revealed for the Scottish Design Awards 2022, drawing together a broad gamut of work spanning all aspects of design from print to craft and affordable housing.

From brand identities that display the purist design integrity to transformational properties that any one of us would be happy to call home and showstopping examples of craft that take your breath away. Collectively each finalist demonstrates how our digital and physical footprint is evolving for the better.
Nominated work ranges from a charitable art exhibition which celebrates the universal appeal of table tennis to an exploration of the potential for life beyond Earth to 'disruptive' packaging which keeps a 250 year old whisky fresh.
Design chair Dave Roberts of Superunion commented: "An honour to chair the Scottish Design awards alongside a great team of people. The high standards of creativity and craft ran throughout all the categories with a strong sense of original thinking. Great to see excellence shining in areas such as experiential, moving image and animation. Some real benchmark projects."
A gala presentation will take place in The Radisson Hotel on Glasgow on 29 June when the winners will be revealed, drawing two years of socially distanced events to a close as well as marking the 25th anniversary of the awards programme.
