Bottled water brand Evian has marked the launch of its first carbonated variant with a bubbly ad campaign spanning out-of-home (OOH), social, digital, PR and sampling, as well as five electric buses decked out in custom branding.

At launch, Evian “will add its sparkle” to five fully-wrapped buses in London. There will also be a collaboration with product sampling agency Purity.

Dillon McEvoy, head of marketing at Evian, said: “This is the start of a new chapter for our iconic brand, and we’re sure that Evian Sparkling, standing out for its true purity and freshness with just the right amount of bubbles, will be just as popular with consumers across the UK.”

Kelly Parker, chief operating officer at Wavemaker UK, added: “Just in time for the UK’s mini-heatwave, we’re bringing the pure and refreshingly light taste of Evian Sparkling to its customers, and those that try it will not be disappointed.”

Non-Londoners won’t be left out, with a supporting OOH, social, digital and PR drive pushing the benefits of adding a little fizz to your life, as well as being beamed directly to people’s homes through a series of video and display ads on Amazon’s Fire TV.
