The super app will feature the business behemoth’s properties and investments like online grocer BigBasket, electronics store Croma, pharmacy service 1mg, luxury brand Cliq, streaming app Tata Play, low-cost airline AirAsia, and Starbucks.

Users will also be to access Tata Pay, a payment service that also offers loans and insurance. They can also receive cashback, discounts, and rewards in the form of Neucoins, which can be used across all of Tata Group’s services.

Tata hopes Tata Neu will help it take on Flipkart and Jio Platforms in India, as well as the likes of Grab and AirAsia, which have built super apps recently, around Asia Pacific

“The Tata Group is focussed on transforming businesses for the digital world, and in the consumer context, bringing them together into a unified platform that offers an omnichannel experience,” said N. Chandrasekaran the chairman of Tata Group.

“With Tata Neu, we are focused on making the lives of Indian consumers easier. The power of choice, a seamless experience, and loyalty will be at the center of Tata Neu, delivering a powerful One Tata experience to Indian consumers.”
