General Motors is promoting the Chevrolet Bolt, an electric hatchback developed in partnership with LG, by illustrating how the model is suitable for everyone, not just early adopters.

Two separate spots outline very different use cases, beginning with ‘Life Changes,’ depicting a female technician showing an expectant mother how to power her Chevy Bolt EUV using a home charger.

Remarking that she hopes being a mom is as easy as topping up her car, the technician laughs and says, “It’s not!”

‘Mom,’ a parallel video, depicts another Chevy Bolt EUV driver fielding a call from his talkative mum, likening the 247-mile range of a Bolt EUV to her ability to keep on incessantly yakking.

Developed by McCann Worldgroup, the twin campaign is available now on YouTube.
