Retailer Argos has teamed up with Pinterest to launch a concept hotel curated using products from the high street brand, influenced by the social media platform’s annual trends report.

A limited number of suites are available to book for an overnight stay

Located in the Town Hall Hotel in Bethnal Green, London, the hotel features the latest Argos homeware and furniture ranges. The rooms include themes such as ‘Luxe,’ ‘Play’ and ‘Nature,’ and will be available for the public to view between April 2-4, with a limited number of suites available to book for an overnight stay.

“This is a great opportunity to bring our homeware to life, immerse and inspire our customers and really demonstrate the ways our design-led furniture and homeware can transform a room,” said Andrew Tanner, design manager at Argos.

“Our in-house team is committed to curating a range of beautiful products to inspire and excite all our customers, from opulent furnishings to earthy accents and vibrant décor. Trends have always been at the heart of our collections, but now that we are adapting to a new way of living and spending more time in our homes, we want to demonstrate the various ways our design-led furniture and homeware can transform a room.”

The project will be amplified digitally across social media channels, an immersive 360° video, detailed high-res photography and shoppable digital formats.

“The Mood Hotel taps into the phenomenal cultural shift we’ve all lived through in the last two years,” added Sibylle Tretera, head of creative strategy, EMEA, at Pinterest.

“Across the world, we’ve seen that people’s relationships with their homes have changed forever, and with this comes a new demand for evolving and transforming spaces to suit our mood. This innovative approach from Argos explores the ways people are using the platform and brings to life the very trends people are searching for, making it easy for home decor fans to take action on their creative ideas.”
