Twitch Gameplan advertising certification launches to help advertisers & agencies level up
Fancy yourself as a Twitch expert? Now with the launch of the Twitch Gameplan global advertising certification, advertisers and agencies can learn how to capture the livestreaming audience and master the power of advertising on Twitch.

Twitch has launched the global Twitch Gameplan advertising certification – an external training program created to help advertisers and agencies become masters of immersive and interactive ad campaigns on the service. Twitch Gameplan will be unveiled at an event to be livestreamed across the globe on February 15, exploring the advertising opportunities for marketers.
The interactive e-learning experience offers nine courses, followed by an assessment. Once the program is completed, participants will receive an official certification as a Twitch expert. The program dives into everything from the Twitch viewer experience, its built-for-livestreaming advertising products, brand safety and suitability efforts, insights and measurement, and more.
“Audiences are migrating to the new platforms, channels and spaces, often at a greater pace than our industry keeps up [with] – we need to be able to understand these platforms inside out to ensure our brands show up in a genuine, authentic way,” says Dan Holland, executive vice-president, Dentsu Gaming.

To mark the launch of Twitch Gameplan certification, Twitch will be streaming a launch event three times on February 15* to accommodate audiences in Europe, the US and Asia. The one-hour virtual session will cover the advertising opportunity of livestreaming, featuring globally-renowned Pokimane; Mike Shinoda from Linkin Park; and special live musical performances by popular Twitch streamers.

It’s the first external facing training program from Twitch and is open to advertisers and agencies around the world that want to better understand and leverage the power of livestreaming on Twitch.
