Ryan Reynolds’s Maximum Effort clicks with Bolt’s one-step payments
Hollywood superstar turned celebrity marketer Ryan Reynolds has broken his latest video campaign, with a little help from Canadian singer-songwriter Sarah McLachlan.

Ryan Reynolds’s Maximum Effort invites shoppers to check out one-click payments
Maximum Effort Productions, the Reynolds-founded film production and digital marketing company, is raising awareness of the 70% of online shopping carts that fall at the final payment hurdle on behalf of its new client Bolt.
The one-click checkout tech company claims to have a ready-made solution for frustrated brands in the form of a proprietary network that allocates a unique shopper identity for each user across a multitude of member retailers – ensuring that first-time shoppers enjoy the same ease of purchase as returning consumers.
The campaign follows a new partnership struck between Beverley Hills-based communications agency The Lede Company and Maximum Effort in the wake of its takeover by advertising software provider MNTN.
Previous Reynolds’s marketing efforts include ‘Sexmas,’ a suggestive advert raising awareness of erectile dysfunction.
