Ad of the Day: Tropicana adds a drop of sunshine to a catastrophic day
Tropicana and creative agency partner Cramer-Krasselt have released a tongue-in-cheek disaster-style ad as part of its ‘Sip Your Sunshine‘ marketing push.

‘Just Another Day’ is a two-minute-long comical insight into extreme events that would definitely interrupt the course of your day, with the tagline being that the juice brand will always be there to raise a glass and a smile.
Director Nick Ball, whose work includes Wrigley’s Extra ‘For When It’s Time, added his touch to the spot.
In the video, viewers are privy to a family’s breakfast scene that is interrupted by a dodgy table that keeps falling over, a grizzly monster lurking under a young kid‘s bed and finally an astronaut falling through a living room ceiling.
Contradicting the catastrophic scenes, the film is soundtracked by the uplifting voice of Ella Fitzgerald singing ‘It’s A Lovely Day Today’.
The campaign film will be supported by four 15-second spots that will be amplified across digital and social channels.
