Founded in 2015, Red Hot Penny has made a name for itself as a specialist in search engine optimization, pay per click and digital analytics, attracting clients such as Megabus, La Perla and SEKO Logistics in the process.

This success has brought it to the attention of the PHA Group, which will harness Red Hot Penny talent as the kernel of a new digital division.

Schulhof, who will report directly to PHA Group managing directors Shelley Frosdick and Stuart Skinner, said: “Our desire to provide clients with the best possible support, as well as offer our employees continual development opportunities, meant that we needed to evolve as an agency. Becoming part of the PHA Group ticks all these boxes and together we will deliver an industry-leading proposition.”

Frosdick and Skinner added: “It has been great to get to know David and his team; they are an impressive group with complementary skills and a shared cultural approach focused on the highest quality work.”

The influx of skills will not be limited to the digital domain, with the PHA Group’s central services, social media and Manchester-based northern teams all set for expansion following the takeover.
