Samsung signs deal with One Esports to create dedicated app for its devices

Samsung has signed a deal with One Esports that will see the South Korean electronic giant carry a dedicated One Esports mobile app developed for Samsung in its devices in South East Asia.

Samsung users can also access videos and rewards produced by the One Esports team for the app

The app, which will be available in Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam, will carry esports news and content produced from the One Esports media ecosystem.

Through this unprecedented partnership with One Esports, we are excited to bring the galaxy of esports to Samsung mobile users, many of whom are passionate about esports and mobile gaming,” said Chris Tarr, the head of mobile services and partnership for SEA and Oceania at Samsung.

“One Esports is uniquely positioned as South East Asia’s premier esports media organization, and our partnership sets the cornerstone for combining the best of esports experiences with the best mobile gaming devices for our customers.”

The partnership will also see One Esports and Samsung create a mobile esports tournament in 2022.
