Are you struggling to make the distinction between a work event and a party? Is the thought of bringing your own beverage leaving you feeling confused?

Well, Beavertown Brewery’s alcohol-free IPA might be the answer, according to the brand’s reactive social media post that takes aim at Boris Johnson and his lockdown drinks party.

Yesterday, the Tory leader apologized during Prime Minister’s Questions for attending a drinks party in Downing Street’s garden during the lockdown in May 2020.

Twitter users have been reacting to the trending topic for the past few days, and many brands have inserted themselves into the conversation.

A quick-witted visual from Beavertown popped up yesterday afternoon and promotes the brand’s ‘Lazer Crush’ beer and merchandise including tumblers, beanie hats and socks.

The non-boozy drink is part of the brewer’s ‘Crush January’ campaign, which promotes the idea that ‘it’s time to slap your taste buds into a new stratosphere and show this month who’s boss.’

Founded by Logan Plant, son of Led Zeppelin frontman Robert, Beavertown Brewery has slowly grown to be a major player in the craft beer scene, with Heineken buying a minority stake in 2018, injecting £40m into the brand.
