TikTok has dipped its toes in the rapidly growing non-fungible token (NFT) scene with the release of a creator-led collection of digital assets inspired by trending videos.
TikTok Top Moments offers custom content from platform favorites such as Lil Nas X, Bella Poarch, Brittany Broski and Curtis Roach, each of whom will offer fans the chance to show their appreciation for culturally important TikTok events by purchasing a file for posterity.
Each unique or limited-edition NFT will celebrate the cultural impact made by their chosen creator. Produced in partnership with NFT creators including COIN ARTIST, x0r, RTFKT and Grimes, the scheme provides a new avenue for content creators to be recognized and rewarded for their work, with all proceeds going directly to the creators and NFT artists involved.

TikTok’s NFT foray comes as marketers continue to display hesitancy in fully embracing the platform for their advertising.
