Account moves

Planet Fitness has announced it has selected a newly-formed unit within Publicis Groupe as its new agency of record following a strategic competitive review. Team Lift, a bespoke agency solution, was created specifically for Planet Fitness to support marketing strategy, centralized data and analytics, media planning and buying, creative and brand partnerships.

De Beers, the world’s leading diamond company, has appointed Havas Media Group as its global media agency of record following a competitive pitch. The business will be run out of Havas Media Group UK’s luxury international unit, which also handles other prestigious luxury clients including Hermès, Credit Suisse and Fabergé.

Butterkist has appointed St Luke’s as its lead creative agency following a competitive roster pitch, held entirely remotely. St Luke’s remit for Butterkist will include development of a new brand creative platform and creation of all ATL communications that will help bring to life Butterkist’s core products and NPDs.

Iconic performing arts venue Royal Opera House has appointed global socially-led creative agency We Are Social to attract a younger and more diverse audience to the venue and its productions. We Are Social in London will be tasked with engaging a new diverse group of experience seekers, activating a new social strategy that invites this audience to explore the stimulating world of opera and ballet.

Interpublic Group agency Golin has been appointed by Harley-Davidson, Inc. to maintain its corporate reputation in China. Golin will implement a scaled, earned media strategy throughout China for Harley-Davidson, supporting the brand’s growth in the country by providing tailor-made solutions including product launches, brand campaigns, dealer communications, brand partnerships and consumer activations.

Carousell has appointed Essence as integrated media agency of record to help accelerate marketing transformation and business growth for the brand in this region. As part of the partnership, Essence’s first activities with Carousell include a campaign to build brand awareness among its target consumers in Hong Kong, and a campaign to establish the brand’s versatility across products and service categories in Singapore and the Philippines, as well as conducting the agency’s Essence Media Health Check consulting service with Carousell’s team on its performance marketing campaigns.

Launches

Fred & Farid has announched the launch of Flawed, a new consultancy label created by Karen Ge and invested by Fred & Farid Shanghai. Flawed aims to help brands confront their flaws and turn the imperfections into strategic elements of business growth.
