Ad of the Day: CitizenM opens LA hotel with Polaroid exhibition of local residents
As CitizenM’s hotel opens up in Los Angeles, it has marked the occasion with an 11-story window exhibition.

CitizenM showcases 52 creative, enterprising and artistic LA locals
Launching in the city famous for its celebrity culture, the exhibition aims to shine a light on some of the less well-known but equally important faces from the area. A portrait of a Downtown LA local has been placed in each window, celebrating their big part in the community where they live, work and play.
The portraits were taken by photographer and local resident Corinne Schiavone. All together she captured 52 creative, enterprising and artistic locals, presenting the portraits like a Polaroid – a medium synonymous with LA’s famous casting calls.

Of the 52 selected, the cast covers a cross-section of society, including entertainers, human rights advocates, trans people, queer club night promoters, musicians, artists and chefs who gave up everything to feed Black Lives Matter supporters.
Created by Kesselskramer, the stunt is the latest in a line of large-scale exhibitions created alongside CitizenM, devised to celebrate the locals in the areas around its hotels, including Copenhagen, Seattle and New York.
