Return to office

Take The Drum's Return to Work survey ahead of England's 19 July restrictions lifting

This week, prime minister Boris Johnson set out the government’s plans to lift remaining Covid restrictions in England.

He says most legal restrictions and guidance should be removed July 19, with official confirmation due on July 12.

If plans go ahead, the changes could see an end to social distancing and face coverings, as well as the full reopening of hospitality and businesses – including an end to the guidance around working from home.

Many UK agencies, including Publicis, Dentsu and M&C Saatchi, have already told The Drum of their intention not to force people back to the office, opting instead for flexible or blended working for the foreseeable future.

Meanwhile, other major employers such as JP Morgan are pushing for a return to normality as soon as possible, regardless of workers’ vaccination status.

So what are the plans for your workplace?

The Drum is carrying out an anonymous survey to take the pulse of the industry and find out how workers are feeling ahead of the government’s final verdict.

You can take part in the survey here.
