Wavemaker has announced Nicolas Brézet as the global media lead for its L’Oréal account. Based in Paris, Brézet will be responsible for supporting the growing Wavemaker-L’Oréal relationship, connecting markets, and sharing and scaling best practices across the global and local account teams. He will also be tasked with supporting Wavemaker’s extended e-commerce and search scope with L’Oréal.
WPP has revealed that Jens Monsees has decided to step down as chief executive officer of WPP Aunz Limited as it transitions from a public company to a fully-integrated business within WPP. His decision follows the completion, on May 18 2021, of a scheme of arrangement that made WPP the sole shareholder of WPP Aunz, which was subsequently delisted from the Australian Securities Exchange.
Advertising and communications group Havas Creative has promoted its UK and European strategy head Mark Sinnock to the newly-created role of global chief strategy officer. Sinnock will continue to report to global chief executive officer Chris Hirst and be based out of Havas’s UK Village in London’s King’s Cross.
Omnicom Group Inc has announced the appointment of Chris Foster as chief exec of Omnicom Public Relations Group. Foster will oversee the public relations portfolio within Omnicom, focusing on talent, innovation and cross-agency collaboration to drive growth. Current interim chief executive officer John Doolittle will become the chairman of OPRG.
Havas Media Group has appointed Mike Bregman as chief data officer of Havas Media Group North America. Based in New York, Bregman will serve on HMG’s North American executive leadership team. Bregman joins HMG after other recent leadership appointments across North America, with Meghan Grant as recently-named chief strategy officer and Amy Ginsberg as chief investment officer.
Publicis Health Media welcomes Stefanos Kapetanakis as group vice-president of data and technology, a new role created to advance PHM’s technology portfolio and infrastructure, as well as to help clients advance their digital transformation goals. Kapetanakis will oversee data and technology design, development and operational support for media solutions and connected product offerings.
Xaxis, GroupM’s outcome-driven media company, has announced the promotion of Silvia Sparry to global chief operating officer, reporting to Nicolas Bidon, global chief executive officer. Sparry is based in London and previously served as vice-president of global operations and platforms.
