Ogilvy has announced that Liz Taylor has been named global chief creative officer. For over two decades, Taylor has been recognized as one of the industry’s most progressive creative leaders and was recently recognized as the top-ranked woman on The Drum’s global ranking of the most-awarded chief creative officers. Taylor will be responsible for overseeing Ogilvy’s creative product across 132 offices in 83 countries and spanning its five business units: advertising, PR, experience, health, and growth and innovation.

Javier Campopiano, currently chief creative officer Europe and creative chairman UK at Grey, has been promoted to the new role of global creative partner. From the new worldwide position, he will oversee the agency’s creative work across Europe and Asia. He will also take on a new role driving the creative output on a major global assignment at WPP.

Chaka Sobhani has been promoted to global chief creative officer of Leo Burnett. Sobhani will be responsible for evolving the Publicis Groupe network’s creative standards, as well as recruiting and growing the next generation of creative talent, with a focus on diversity and inclusion.

MediaCom has appointed Nancy Lengthorn as its first-ever global chief inclusion and culture officer. Previously head of inclusion and belonging at MediaCom UK and WPP, Lengthorn will be responsible for developing diversity and inclusion schemes across the network.

DDB North America has shared the appointment of Andrea Diquez as chief executive officer of DDB Chicago. The office’s first female chief executive, DDB Chicago is the network’s largest office in the North America region. Diquez joins from Saatchi & Saatchi New York and has a long history of growth in the industry. DDB looks to Diquez for her renowned leadership skills to spark creativity and connection in Chicago and throughout the region. She reports directly to DDB North America chief Justin Thomas-Copeland.

Christine Turner and Kevin Masters will be joining BBH next month to run the Tesco account. They are joining from VCCP, where they have been group creative directors for two and a half years, and have worked on campaigns such as the ‘Save our Shirt’ and Rhodri Giggs’s Loyalty’s Dead campaigns for Paddy Power.

Aravind Menon has been appointed as the managing director for Malaysia at Xaxis, GroupM’s outcome media specialist, and INCA, GroupM’s influencer marketing solution. He will be reporting to both Arshan Saha, Xaxis chief executive officer, Asia-Pacific, and Chanchal Chakrabarty, GroupM chief executive officer, Malaysia.

Media

Condé Nast has announced the appointment of Katharine Bailey, who will lead the company’s global product and design organization as senior vice-president, global head of product and design. Bailey will report to Sanjay Bhakta, chief product and technology officer, and will be based in New York.

Elsewhere

Sourcepoint, the data privacy software company for the digital marketing ecosystem, has announced a series of appointments, including Jason Canney to chief technology officer, Julie Rubash to chief privacy counsel, and Jared Hand to managing director, North America. Nial Ferguson has also been promoted to managing director of UK and Ireland. This series of new hires and promotions follows the appointment of Marc Lauriac as managing director of Continental Europe in April.
