Account wins

Dentsu company iProspect US today announced it has been selected as the global paid media partner for LinkedIn following a competetive review. Purplebricks, the UK tech-led estate agency, has appointed UM as its media agency of record. The appointment follows an extensive and competitive pitch process that started in January this year and marks the latest phase of Purplebricks step-changing its marketing activity as it looks to significantly expand its market share.

Uncommon has been assigned as the new creative agency for Twinings tea following a competitive pitch. Incumbent M&C Saatchi has worked with Twinings for several years but did not re-pitch for the account. Uncommon is tasked with refreshing Twining’s brand image and creating an integrated campaign that will launch later this year.

The Hoffman Agency has announced it will be leading communications for Shutterstock in APAC, focusing on introducing the company’s brands including Studio, Editorial, PremiumBeat, Turbosquid, to name a few.

Champion Petfoods has announced that TDA Boulder has been selected as its agency-of-record in North America for its Orijen and Acana brands. The remit includes creative, strategy and media for Champion Petfoods’ entire brand portfolio, which is distributed across North America and nearly 100 countries worldwide.

Danish craft brewery Mikkeller has appointed Leeds-based Ilk Agency to handle the UK launch of its new Game of Thrones-inspired beer. The project will see Ilk handle UK media relations for the launch of its ‘Iron Anniversary IPA’ – the first of a series of craft beers to be launched by Mikkeller following its agreement of a new, multi-year partnership with Warner Bros Consumer Products.

London-based digital marketing agency Climb Online has announced its partnership with leading OOH media company Clear Channel to drive UK growth across the media owner’s local advertising division Clear Channel Direct.

Ongoing Pitches

Appliance-giant Dyson has announced a review of its global media planning and buying requirements. The account is currently held by WPP’s Mindshare, which is expected to re-pitch.

Asda is taking stock as it prepares to appoint a new creative agency. The race is now between Publicis Groupe and Havas London after incumbent AMV BBDO was taken off the shelf.

Corection: Climb Online and Clear Channel's account win was previously listed as a merger, rather than an account win. This article was last updated 21 April.
