Bruno Bertelli's work for Heineken's James Bond tie-in ads took him to the top spot

Published by The Drum, this annual study aggregates and analyzes the results of all of the advertising industry’s major international award schemes to determine which companies, clients and creatives produced the most celebrated work of the previous calendar year.

Last week, we revealed which advertising agencies, holding companies and networks had pulled in the most awards for their creative work over the past year, with Dentsu Tokyo, Omnicom and BBDO enjoying the top spots respectively. We also drilled down into the agency scenes of key regions, revealing that AMV BBDO, McCann New York and Dentsu Tokyo led in their respective territories.

Today, we explore the people behind the work, with rankings of the top chief creative officers, executive creative director and creative directors published.

  • Former top 10 finalists David Lubars and Greg Hahn also appear at the summit, alongside Scholz & Friends CCO Mathias Spaetgens and his Serviceplan Group counterpart Alexander Schill.
