Published by The Drum, this annual study aggregates and analyzes the results of all of the advertising industry’s major international award schemes to determine which companies, clients and creatives produced the most celebrated work of the previous calendar year.

We began this year’s creative countdown by revealing that Dentsu Tokyo had been crowned the most awarded agency worldwide for 2020 and Omnicom, and its network BBDO Worldwide, had been named most awarded holding company and most awarded network respectively. Members of The Drum Plus can view in full the top 100 worldwide agencies and top holding companies and networks rankings.

Now, we are bringing you the geographical breakdowns, showing how agencies in the US, UK and APAC performed against their regional peers.

  • For the second-year running, McCann New York takes the top spot among US agencies. Prized campaigns including its accessibility work for Microsoft helped propel it to the top spot.

  • David Miami, BBDO New York, TBWA\Media Arts Lab LA and FCB Chicago complete the top five.
