Account wins

Flexible workspace provider, WG (International Workspace Group) has appointed Sinclair to lead its corporate communications strategy across Mainland China. Sinclair’s hub in Shanghai will lead the team working with IWG to strengthen the company’s corporate brand reputation amongst business leaders, consumers, and media across the Mainland China market.

BBD Perfect Storm, the brand and cultural transformation company has been appointed by Prospect Magazine to help them with their brand positioning and awareness. The title is looking to capitalize on the uplift in consumer interest in current affairs and social issues. This follows a three-way competitive process, shortlisted from The Drum Top 100 Independent Agencies major players.

Rude Health, the dairy-free drinks and cereals company, best known for its organic almond drink, has signed BMB as its first creative agency. The appointment was made after a pitch handled directly by the brand. There was no previous incumbent agency.

Honda has awarded its BTL account to Missouri Creative, the London-based design and communications agency, following a competitive pitch process. The agency is tasked with re-imagining the below-the-line touchpoints, including brochure development, a suite of digital assets and a new photographic approach for the launch of the new Honda HR-V hybrid in the European region.

Carousell has appointed 72andSunny Singapore as its creative partner for 2021 to lead cross-market campaigns and activations. The agency was awarded without a pitch and is a continuation of the ongoing relationship between Carousell and 72andSunny.

Engine, the global full-service media and marketing services company has announced it has signed Credible as a client. Credible is a leading consumer finance marketplace that enables consumers to compare instant, accurate prequalified rates from multiple financial institutions for mortgages, student loans and personal loans. The pair are working on an initial campaign, including TV, radio and digital, that will launch this summer.

Ongoing Pitches

Facebook has called a review of its global media account, worth some $750m. The review is being managed by ID Comms, with incumbents Mindshare and Dentsu both invited to pitch.

Meanwhile, family-favorite confectionary brand Ferrero has announced a major media and planning and buying review - the second in several years. In 2019 the brand handed its media buying and planning to Mindshare from the incumbent PHD. However, a later review saw Starcom appointed.

Numerous global agencies are gearing up to compete in Unilever's global media-buying review. Incumbents on the account, which is one of the world‘s largest, are WPP, Omnicom and Interpublic.
