Account wins

McCann Worldgroup has announced that it has won Just Eat Takeaway.com’s global creative account, expanding McCann London’s remit globally. Following the merger of Just Eat and Takeaway.com last year, the combined business reviewed its advertising and communications requirements to build on the work done by both legacy companies. McCann, who previously held the business with Just Eat, will now work with Just EatTakeaway.com across all its operating markets.

Reddit has reached an enterprise partnership pact with Omnicom Media Group. Under the terms of the agreement, the first of its kind for Reddit, OMG clients will have access to the very best of Reddit’s creative strategy team, education and training tools, and innovation offerings. With increased access to these tools, teams, and resources, OMG clients will be able to more effectively engage with Reddit’s 52 million daily active users.

Kingsmill has hired Wild Card as its new PR agency. Wild Card has been appointed to drive a brand awareness campaign through national media, social and key influencers – championing Kingsmill’s bakery portfolio including its latest 50/50 Multi-Seed ‘bits and no bits’ launch.

Headspace has handed its consumer and corporate PR relations to London agency, Halpern. Following a competitive pitch, the agency will work with Headspace’s International PR and comms team to develop creative and strategic brand storytelling in the UK.

Mediahub UK has been appointed the agency of record for New Balance. It has won the sports footwear and apparel brand’s full-service media account across multiple European markets, including the UK, Germany, Italy, France, Scandinavia and Benelux. The move is part of a drive by New Balance to consolidate its marketing suppliers, grow brand penetration and scale its D2C offering.

Evian has selected Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam as its global creative agency of record. The duo’s first move has been launch of Evian’s ’Drink True’ global platform, which is steering the way for the brand to continue its journey towards becoming circular by 2025.

Pudding pioneer Gü has announced it has appointed St Luke’s as its lead creative agency following a competitive pitch, held entirely remotely. St Luke’s remit for Gü will include development of a new brand creative platform and creation of all ATL communications that will help bring to life Gü’s unique taste in the dessert market.

Ongoing pitches

Alcohol giant Pernod Ricard has put its media account up for review, with incumbent agency Havas Media invited to defend its turf. Pernod Ricard hopes the account, worth £10m will have a new guardian by June, with pitches expected to take place in May accordingly.

Mergers

Bauer Media Group and Serviceplan have launched a joint content and publishing agency in the form of new creative content alliance: Bauer Serviceplan. The joint venture headquartered in the House of Communication Berlin (HdK) brings together broad journalistic know-how, creative excellence and digital expertise in an integrated agency concept.
