Holly Hall will join The Drum from Bima in April

Hall will take up the reins at the agency organization in April, leading a program of activity designed to help member agencies share knowledge, solve problems and seize opportunities.

Her move to The Drum follows three years spearheading Bima, the UK digital and tech membership body. Before that she spent 11 years in a variety of roles at D&AD and five years at publisher Les Routiers, where she started her media career.

“I love what The Drum stands for and am looking forward to working with the team to build on the successes of The Drum Network, creating a truly digital-first and global collection of outstanding agencies and marketers,“ Hall said.

“The idea is that wherever you are in the world, you’ll be able to tap into peer support, inspiring leadership and first-hand experience like no other. I just really hope that I won’t be doing it all from my living room!“

Diane Young, chief executive of The Drum, added: “Holly’s goal will be to bring members a program of content and learnings to help them solve problems within the agency.

“She will also be facilitating more networking and interaction between members so that agencies can grow their trusted networks among peers. We are looking to expand that network internationally, which will bring improved insights and new opportunities for everyone in the community. We're excited to have Holly leading that effort.“

Hall is latest high-profile appointment at The Drum following the arrivals of Alex Zeevalkink as head of digital publishing; Claire Adams as head of data; Linda Beal, as chief of staff; and Matt Brightwell as platform manager for Open Mic at the turn of the year.
