It would be fair to say that, for creatives working in the retail or consumer packaged goods industry, 2020 hasn’t exactly gone to plan. Studios have been forced to shut down, production schedules have been stalled or abandoned, teams have been scattered and budgets have evaporated.
Now, as we turn to face the challenges of 2021, an interactive webinar – ‘Creative Breakthrough: 2020 and Beyond’ – hosted by The Drum and content services platform Nuxeo, will examine the opportunity for creative marketers to step forward within their organizations and affect positive change.
Taking place on Thursday 3 December, 1pm EST / 5pm GMT, The Drum US editor, Kenneth Hein will be joined by Alan Porter, Nuxeo’s director of product marketing, and Lisa McIntyre, product manager, responsible for guiding the direction of Nuxeo’s Digital Asset Management capabilities.
Porter, who also hosts Nuxeo’s ‘Content Journeys’ podcast series, said: “Creativity binds us together and in times of crisis we take great solace in it. Perhaps that’s why creative culture throughout the world has often thrived at times of hardship and uncertainty. Overcoming new challenges is where creative people excel and, on that basis, 2021 represents a huge opportunity for creatives to step forward and lead their organizations’ response to those challenges.”
The webinar will explore some of the innovative strategies and new technologies that are helping to generate inspiration inside modern organizations, ways to utilize existing digital assets in unique ways and develop new processes.
McIntyre said: “At Nuxeo, we take pride in being much more than a traditional DAM or ECM offering. While we offer robust asset and content management capabilities, our 21st century approach takes a broader view of data and content to address the contemporary needs of enterprises and creatives. Legacy systems leave content disconnected. Critical gaps are filled by manual handoffs and slow, rigid process that change at a glacial pace and hamper creativity and innovation.
“By contrast, we empower enterprises to derive more value from the critical content they use every day. From making the power of AI predictions accessible to non-technical users to establishing full cross-departmental workflows that really work, Nuxeo is focused on doing the tough stuff and doing it well.”
We look forward to exploring the spectrum of innovative tactics, strategies and possibilities for creatives in 2021 and learn how we can tackle the future together.
