More than ever, marketers at every level are relying on digital channels to reach customers, new markets and one another. But as companies are finding out, with so much in flux, going digital isn’t just flipping a switch from one state to another. It’s vital to take stock, look ahead and make plans.

Speakers from Alibaba, WhatsApp and Hootsuite.

What's next after digital transformation? The Drum Digital Summit is a five-day festival focused on our digital future.

This is the motivation behind The Drum’s Digital Summit, which follows on from our Digital Transformation Festival in March and brings global brands and marketing leaders together to do just that.

Running from 9 to 13 November, the five-day festival will focus on the big themes shaping our digital future. The agenda features a mix of panels and in-depth interviews designed to inspire and find practical solutions, while providing the tools marketers need to thrive in a digital tomorrow.

Making the most of its virtual format, senior figures from The Drum will speak to key players from tech, brands and agencies in Asia, America and Europe.

Attendees can expect to hear from a variety of global brands, including a rare speaking engagement from the chief marketing officer at e-commerce giant Alibaba. Also featured are ubiquitous messaging platform WhatsApp, snack and beverage behemoth PepsiCo, restaurant chain Chipotle and multinational beauty company Coty.

There will also be an opportunity to celebrate many of the year’s successes. The week-long festival will incorporate virtual award ceremonies, announcing the results of The Drum Awards for Digital Industries (formerly DADIs), for Social Media, for Content and for Digital Advertising (APAC).

The Digital Summit is produced with the help of various companies and features specialised sessions hosted by some of The Drum’s partners. Brand safety expert DoubleVerify will expand on the future of CTV and other emerging platforms, while advocate of informed user choice Ogury gets into the details of toxic data and Hootsuite shares its insights into social media’s economic, cultural and transformative power.

The event is also supported by Ad-Lib, AdColony, Broadsign, Criteo, LiveRamp, Media Bounty, MoPub, Stein IAS, The Trade Desk, Unruly, WP Engine and Xandr.

Festival content can be watched live, or viewers can catch up on demand.
