What does B2B marketing have in store as we turn the corner on 2020 – a year that has upended life and business as we know it? Will it be about renewed growth, the continued adoption of martech, or the higher-order creativity that takes into account the social change and global issues affecting customers as well as an increasing focus on the human side of B2B?

Jillian Ryan, Suresh Vittal and Tony Schwartz are among the expert panellists speaking at B2B WorldFest.

The first annual B2B WorldFest, launched by The Drum partnership with global B2B agency Stein IAS, will bring along a dazzling display of B2B speakers to explore the convergence of creativity and technology, of strategy and cultures.

B2B WorldFest, a virtual festival running from 18 to 19 November 2020, will also investigate the transformations that will shape the future of the B2B industry. The two-day festival will focus on four key themes: creativity, corporate culture, digital transformation and business strategy.

According to Tom Stein, chairman and chief client officer at Stein IAS: “Transformation and rapid evolution are vital to continued success in the B2B world. Significant change was already happening, but now it has accelerated with unprecedented pace during this time of the pandemic. Our ambition for B2B WorldFest, together with our partners at The Drum, is to help create a new B2B playbook that looks at the new growth agenda and the creative agility of the sector that has already embraced marketing technology. B2B now needs to ramp up its human and emotional connections.”

Gordon Young, editor-in-chief and co-founder of The Drum added: “B2B marketers are planning for the post pandemic and the economic uncertainty that is ahead of us. But what we also need to take into account are the big cultural ruptures, such as Black Lives Matters and Climate Change. The festival will touch these and other macro themes. We want to use this as an opportunity to bring B2B’s best thinkers and doers together to re-think, re-prioritize and re-connect.”

Participants in this truly global event can expect to hear from world-leading brands, including Adobe, IBM, PayPal, Hiscox, EY, O2, Caterpillar, Bloomberg, Mitel, Covance, eMarketer, State Street Global Advisors, Bombora, Demandbase and many more.

As well as charting a course for tomorrow, B2B WorldFest is a chance to look back at the successes of this year. A virtual awards ceremony announcing the results of The Drum B2B Awards, will be held on Thursday 19 November, celebrating the finest craft and creativity in the B2B industry.
