WPP consolidates Sudler teams to form new health agency VMLY&Rx
WPP has consolidated its health teams into a global healthcare agency to service pharmaceutical clients producing specialist prescriptions. VMLY&Rx will combine specialist Sudler teams with VMLY&R and is to be led by Claire Gillis, International chief executive officer of WPP Health Practice.
What is VMLY&Rx?

VMLY&Rx will service high-value pharmaceutical firms outside the US which specialise in complex prescription medicines.

VMLY&Rx supercedes the Sudler brand, which will be retired internationally.

The new agency launches with immediate effect, offering a full gamut of services including pre-clinical and clinical support, strategic branding and commercialisation.

Gillis said: “We now have a specialist offering that links our Rx (the term used to describe specialist prescription medicines) experience to VMLY&R’s technology and creative firepower at a global level.”

Jon Cook, global chief executive officer of VMLY&R, added: “Our ability to create innovative brand experiences, combined with the health experience of Sudler and WPP Health Practice, will create a global team with specialist capabilities built to thrive in the new era of healthcare.”
