Yesterday (15 July) marked the reopening of pubs in Scotland as lockdown continues to lift across the country.

To celebrate the return of the local, and to encourage drinkers to enjoy their return to the pub safely, drinks magazine Dram and One Minute Briefs joined forces to raise a glass to the Scottish pubs industry.

Editor of Dram, Susan Young, said of the challenge: “As everyone knows pubs in Scotland have been closed since lockdown started, and the 15 July heralded the start of a new era in pub life as they re-opened with lots of new safety measures in place to prevent the transmission of coronavirus.

“We took the opportunity to team up with One Minute Brief to create a campaign that would encourage people to go back to the pub and to do it safely. The brief was to create a poster to welcome customers back to Scotland’s pubs and encourage them to socialise safely when they are there. #LovePubLife #ProtectPubLife and they have done a great job, and perhaps we could persuade the Scottish Government to fund a campaign.

"A big thanks to the OMB creatives and Nick Entwistle for supporting Scotland’s pubs.”

Below, we take a look at some of the responses to the brief.
