MMR acquires creative digital comms agency Together

The Nottingham-based acquisition was founded in 2006 and has specialised in branding, digital marketing, social media, communications and packaging design. Business partners Nick Honey and Jonathan Turner co-founded the agency which now boasts a team of 26 and a claimed turnover of £2.3m.

The move sees MMR build out its marketing services capabilities. It now offers a wider range of services to a combined client portfolio spanning CPG, healthcare, leisure, travel and property.

MMR head of marketing Laura Smith said: "We couldn’t be more excited to have a digital marketing agency join the MMR Family. Together works with some really exciting brands including Muller, Fox’s, Belvoir Fruit Farms and Interflora, and the partnership between our two businesses means we now have even more opportunities to help our clients succeed at even more stages of their innovation journeys."

Honey said: "We’ve nurtured the agency over the last 14 years through thick and thin and are really proud of the team and what we’ve achieved. MMR and Together share many of the same values and so I couldn’t think of a better way to move forward for our staff and clients than under the umbrella of MMR."

As well as strengthening MMR’s proposition and providing further support for Together, it will be looking for cross-company benefits.

Honey and Turner will both continue to lead the agency, which will remain in Nottingham, with no other planned staff changes.

Together Agency was advised by M&A advisory.
