Canton Marketing Solutions names CEO and CSO

Nick King is appointed CEO.

Canton has reorganised its senior team to focus on client success and grow the company.

Nick King has been announced as CEO, while Robert Webster will assume the role of chief strategy officer.

King has been a founder at Canton since its launch over a year ago.

"We set up Canton to reimagine how brands’ marketing efforts should be supported today," says King. “The last year has seen phenomenal growth as we have gone from just Rob Webster and myself working on a couple of clients to working on over 20 clients including Vodafone, Sky and Paddy Power Betfair.

"Our horizons have expanded and we are now servicing blue-chip clients in the US and across the globe”

Co-founder Webster has been running the company since its launch last year, a few months prior to King joining. He brings with him knowledge and experience across data, technology and online media.

Of this new position, Webster says: "Nick has been effectively running the company since he joined and has added real gravitas and professionalism to our growing business. This appointment means I will have more time to spend with clients navigating the changes the sector is going through.

"Our offering over the last few months has developed and we have become a partner of Infosum alongside work supporting the likes of Xandr, Avocet, Flashtalking, and Adform. With so many companies now becoming Google resellers I am proud that Canton supports independent Mad tech as well as offering in-depth services with GAFA (Google, Amazon, Facebook, Apple)”.

James Briscoe, chairman of Canton, adds: “I am delighted to announce Nick as CEO; the exponential growth of Canton over the last year, has been built on two great founders doing two distinct roles exceptionally well. Given our size and continued growth its time we focus even more on building to the future.”
