W+K London CEO Neil Christie heads up The Drum's conference for agency leaders

Neil Christie, the chief executive officer of Wieden and Kennedy London is set to take on Agency Acceleration Day UK 2020, The Drum's annual conference for agency leaders, with a keynote Q&A as part of the regular podcast series, Leadership Lessons hosted by The Drum’s editor, Stephen Lepitak.

Christie will discuss his experiences and insights as a business leader and how he works with and manages his teams.

This one-day event, taking place on 25 March at the White Rabbit in Shoreditch with a focus on agency growth and to help marketing communication agencies, both big and small, reach the next level of success.

Sport England and its ad agency, FCB Inferno, will take to the stage to explore the nature of creative transformation and how This Girl Can came to be, while Sue Unerman, the chief transformation officer at MediaCom and Kathryn Jacob OBE, chief executive officer at Pearl and Dean offer honest advice in fulfiling your potential in the workplace and in turn, being happier and more successful.

As the industry becomes more conscious about their sustainability and environmental approach,Trewin Restorick, founder and chief executive officer, Hubbub UK; Alice Salisbury, co-founder, InklingCC and Tom Stancliffe, co-founder, Tribe Performance Nutrition will discuss how and why agencies need to improve their own values for direct business reasons.

Agency leaders from Uncommon London, Jellyfish, MSQ Partners and Merkle will also come together to share the challenges they face and the trends they are experiencing, and what the answers might be to not just survive but to thrive in the new decade and beyond.

In the final panel of the day, Portas' CEO, Caireen Wackett, Katy Howell, CEO of Immediate Future, Richard Exon, founder of Joint and Gareth Mercer, founding partner of Pablo London will dive into the world of new business.
